Time and Commitment

Rehearsals are held on Sunday evenings, September through May, with January and August typically "off". Performances are all year around. Members are expected to perform at all engagements. There is a "camp weekend" (Friday evening and all day Saturday) early in each semester, which you will be expected to attend in full. The spring camp weekend is in February (usually the second weekend) and the fall camp weekend is in September (usually the weekend after Labor Day).

In addition, we encourage our members to participate in the functioning of the organization by using the non-singing talents they possess. Because we are an all-volunteer, self-governed organization, we rely on each other to keep the organization vital and running smoothly. All new members are assigned a "big sibling" to help them navigate the group. If you are accepted, that person will speak with you about opportunities to serve on committees.

By checking this box you agree that you understand the time and committment expectations, agree to attend all rehearsals and performances, except for emergencies, and agree to notify the Membership Chairperson before the beginning of any semester you plan not to return.
