The Forty Niners Chorus is a community group made up of approximately 50 men and women from Chester County, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. The chorus presents two major shows each year, performing 15-18 concerts for over 6000 people. We perform a variety of music including Broadway tunes, pop, standards, spirituals and Americana. While we emphasize our singing, we add fun and spice to our performances with original storylines, costumes, and choreography!

Since 1952, The Forty Niners Chorus has provided family entertainment to the communities of Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, and Lancaster counties. We also perform annually in Cape May, NJ and have toured Europe three times. Our performances raise money to provide cash awards for three worthy local high school students planning to study music in college. We encourage these young musicians to develop their talents and endeavor to give back to their communities through local organizations like The Forty Niners Chorus. Our sponsors, benefactors and friends all share our singular desire to keep community music alive.
