A Little about the Chorus

The Forty Niners Chorus of Chester County, Pennsylvania is a community group made up of approximately 50 men and women from Chester County and surrounding areas. The Chorus presents two major shows a year, performing 15-18 concerts for over 6000 people.

The Christmas show, presented at Henderson High School in West Chester, features a formal first half of holiday favorites, old and new. The second half is a fully staged production featuring an elaborate set and enthusiastic singing along with creative choreography and staging. Our Spring show, similar in nature to the second half but scaled down for ease of travel, is performed in a variety of locations throughout the tri-state area.

The Forty Niners sing a variety of music, sacred and secular, including Broadway tunes, pop, standards, spirituals and Americana. Rehearsals are held on Sunday evenings and include time for singing and socializing. Family participation is encouraged.
